Miranda Lambert released her first album in 2005 after finishing 3rd on 'Nashville Star', a country music talent show, in 2003. The album titled 'Kerosene' debuted at number 1 on the Billboard top country album charts and the album produced 4 top 40 singles on the country charts. - Miranda has been dating fellow country singer Blake Shelton since 2006 and has written song with him that appear on her new album. She also co wrote and dueted with him on a song for his 2008 album 'Startin' Fires' called 'Bare Skin Rug.
- Miranda is only the third female singer to have three records debut at number 1 on the Billboard country album charts.
