Kellie Pickler started her career when she auditioned for the fifth season of American Idol. She finished in 6th place and then she signed a record deal in 2006. Her first album 'Small Town Girl' was released in late 2006. The album contains very personal songs such as 'I Wonder' which she co-wrote about her childhood without her mother. There are also upbeat songs such as her first single 'Red High Heels'.
